Often people have outdated knowledge, or second-hand information on the laws relating to the disclosure of transmissible diseases, or no knowledge at all. When confronted with this information, many practitioners are not sure where to find resources to equip them with the right knowledge on the topic, what to tell their client, and whether they should proceed with their service.
This webinar is designed to help CAM practitioners gain a better understanding of HIV, the legal framework surrounding the requirement for a client to disclose their status before treatment, and how to best treat someone who has disclosed their positive status.
We welcome you to attend this free webinar presented by Michael Weir, Professor of Law at Bond University, as he discusses the legal landscape on HIV and Consent for CAM Practitioners.
