Hello! I’m Rachel, Naturopath, Nutritionist and Herbalist.
My journey to becoming a naturopath started early in life. I’ve always been drawn to nature, picking herbs from the garden and making concoctions. We grew up barefooted, plates full of veggies and plenty of sunshine. I struggled for years from a young age with female reproductive issues. While the medical world offered surgery and medications, I thought there had to be a better answer. Years later this led me to study a Bachelor of Health Science, majoring in Naturopathy.
I have a passion for herbal medicine and nutrition. I strongly believe in preventive care and educate my patients about nutrition and lifestyle choices that empowers them to take control of their own health.
As a holistic practitioner, I look at each patient individually with thorough case taking and the use of functional testing. I specialise in meal planning for specific diets and enjoy being in the kitchen creating recipes. I apply an evidence-based approach to practice, incorporating traditional knowledge with the most recent scientific research.
Women’s Health is my jam, I have particular interest in female reproductive health, preconception care, pregnancy and postnatal care, in addition to children’s nutrition, immune health, gastrointestinal disorders, sleep disorders, stress, anxiety and depression.
