Rachel Woo is a Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner experienced in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine and TCM Nutrition. With sound knowledge in traditional natural therapies as well as a Masters degree in Brain & Mind Sciences, Rachel utilises an integrated and holistic therapeutic approach tailored to the individual’s physical, mental and emotional well-being.
In addition to private practice, Rachel has co-run workshops in China, Malaysia, Nepal and New Zealand, teaching acupuncture to medical staff and healthcare professionals in private and hospital settings. She previously held a clinical supervising role at the Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and in 2016 volunteered with the Acupuncture Relief Project, providing free primary healthcare to rural villages in Nepal where there was no access to medical care.
Rachel’s areas of focus are mental health (anxiety & depression), women’s health, children’s health, musculoskeletal issues and chronic pain syndromes. Aware of how an imbalanced diet and state of mind are the leading causes of chronic illness, Rachel is passionate about advocating mindfulness, healthy eating and sustainability practices. Rachel practices Qi Gong and Meditation daily, and being a Classical Chinese Music enthusiast, she enjoys playing the Gu Zheng (Chinese Zither).
Located at a quiet and peaceful sanctuary in Manly West, Rachel Woo offers Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) therapies that include Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Cupping, Gua Sha and Moxibustion. A
