ANTA members are required to have a current Professional Indemnity Insurance policy of at least $2 million [$5 million for Chinese Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture practitioners]Â (plus minimum $10 million public liability) for ANTA membership AND to be registered as providers with health funds (for applicable modalities), as this covers your legal responsibilities to pay damages and legal expenses arising from personal injury to a third party (patient) or damage to their property.
