The Australian School of Remedial Therapies is a subsidiary of the Chi-Chinese Healing College which was founded in 1990 by Master Zhang Hao with the objective of promoting one’s health awareness through offering high standard mind-body-spirit integration courses to attain a fulfilling lifestyle and maximise the participant’s full potential in natural health and healing.

Remedial Massage Therapy

This qualification reflects the role of remedial massage therapists who work with clients presenting with soft tissue dysfunction, musculoskeletal imbalance or restrictions in range of motion (ROM). Practitioners may be self-employed or work within a larger health service.

Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy

Myotherapy

Myotherapy is a branch of manual medicine that focuses on the treatment and management of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. Students gain a greater understanding of human biology, musculoskeletal anatomy and function. Through training and clinical practice, students learn to conduct more comprehensive testing and physical assessments and apply a variety of practical skills such as myofascial release, dry needling, joint mobilisation, trigger point therapy, sports injury management and exercise therapy and rehabilitation.

Diploma of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Remedial Massage (An Mo Tui Na)

Chinese Massage

This qualification reflects the role of massage therapists who provide therapeutic remedial massages according to the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) remedial massage [An Mo Tui Na] framework. Practitioners may be self-employed as independent practitioners or work in a larger health service.
