National Crime Check

Practising ANTA members must provide a Police Check or a Working with Children Check (Paid, not Volunteer). This requirement helps us maintain the highest standards of professionalism, safety and integrity within the Natural Therapy industry.

Police Check Requirements

The minimum requirement for ANTA Members is a Police Check.

However, under legislation, anyone working with individuals under the age of 18 – regardless of whether a parent is present – must hold a valid Working with Children Check (Paid, not Volunteer).

  • If you work with children: You do not need to provide a Police Check, but you must apply for a Paid Working with Children Check (not Volunteer) according to your State or Territory’s requirements.
  • If you do not work with anyone under 18: You will need to provide a Police Check.
