The first is by completing a bachelor of health science (clinical myotherapy) through a university, and the second is to study an advanced diploma of myotherapy through an accredited provider. As with all tertiary courses, the entry requirements are different in each institution. But generally, grade twelve qualifications are a baseline for budding myotherapists.

Wellness centres
Wellness centres often employ practitioners of myotherapy to aid in the management of clients with complex joint problems, chronic pain, or rheumatic symptoms. In such roles, myotherapists are required to work alongside other natural therapists and practitioners to deliver multidisciplinary and holistic solutions.
Medical centres and physiotherapy clinics
Many medical centres offer allied services and myotherapy onsite. As a myotherapist in a medical centre, you will need to work closely with medical practitioners and understand your role with reference to a multidisciplinary medical framework. You will also need to be familiar with interdisciplinary referrals under systems like Medicare.
Private myotherapy clinics
Private consulting as a myotherapist is among the most challenging career paths, as there is a high degree of independence associated with your role. But for the same reason, it can be one of the most rewarding and lucrative. As a consultant, you will work one-on-one with clients to develop long-term treatments plans under the myotherapeutic framework.
To become a qualified practitioner in Australia, you will need to complete an advanced diploma of myotherapy.
