Professional excellence is at the heart of ANTA’s values — and we believe in celebrating it. To honour the outstanding contributions and achievements of our members, we’re proud to launch the inaugural ANTA Excellence Awards, to be held at a Gala Dinner on Friday, 10th October 2025 at the Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort.
This special event, marking ANTA’s 70th anniversary, provides a new and meaningful opportunity to:
The ANTA President, alongside Symposium VIPs, will present the awards during the Gala Dinner celebration.
The Natural Therapists Medal is the most prestigious award and highest honour conferred by ANTA. It may be awarded to anyone in recognition of eminent, outstanding leadership and exceptional contributions in the natural therapies sector.
This Award may be presented to practitioners at any career stage of any ANTA-recognised natural therapy discipline, who have made a significant, measurable impact for the profession aligned with ANTA Values.
An Honorary Fellowship may be conferred on any senior and influential professional who has performed notable, active and sustained service to ANTA and made a significant contribution to the natural therapies sector.
This award is presented to a practitioner who nurtures and embodies both clinical excellence and professional belonging. This is recognised through areas such as peer-learning and collaboration, professional mentoring, professional development engagement and delivery and building inter-modality (or interdisciplinary) connections.
This Award recognises professional excellence for significant contributions to the development or application of professional knowledge in clinical practice within a specific discipline aligned with ANTA’s recognised natural therapy modalities.
This Award may be presented to practitioners at any career stage, of any ANTA-recognised natural therapy discipline, who have made a measurable impact, such as through successful &/or innovative clinical practice and significant contributions to growing the capability, impact or reputation of the modality.
The Outstanding Leadership Award is presented to any ANTA member or group of members for consistent and significant contributions to the ongoing progress of ANTA &/or the natural therapies sector.
This may be through building better understanding, collaboration or respect either among natural therapies sector professionals – or between natural therapy professionals, health professionals and the community.
This award thus recognises an individual practitioner, educator or mentor that upholds and elevates the reputation of the profession through positive engagement, integrity and leadership, including:
Providing thought leadership to address specific natural therapy modality challenges
A demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams, individuals or new professionals to achieve outstanding success
This Award recognises the contribution by a professional within the natural therapies sector through operational, academic, service or other notable achievement.
This award may be presented to any natural therapies sector professional, at any career stage, of any ANTA-recognised natural therapy discipline.
The Award seeks to recognises individuals in creating, marketing &/or communication novel, emerging innovative clinical practice business models that have the potential to significantly contribute to growing the capability, impact or reputation of the profession.

– ANTA Multi-Modal Branch Chair
– Branch Chairs from manual, ingestive, and classical therapy modalities
– ANTA CEO
