Health and wellness clinics have become one of the most popular places for people to relax and unwind, and forget about their daily stresses for a few hours. They usually hire massage therapists, nutritionists, homeopaths, and general naturopaths, providing plenty of job opportunities.
Traditional clinical settings such as hospitals are starting to come round to the efficacy of naturopathy, and have started offering complementary therapies such as homeopathy to patients. This provides career opportunities for the budding naturopath.
According to job kings Seek, naturopathic jobs in Australia will increase by around 15% in the next five years, which will provide plenty of job opportunities for those interested. This is down to the industries continued growth in the country, with wellness spas and naturopathy clinics becoming more and more common.
Australia has one main qualification for naturopathy—the Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy)—a four year degree that is the primary pathway for becoming a naturopath.
