Lifting the Invisibility Cloak, a cross-association webinar on Registration for Naturopaths & Herbalists

A joint effort by ANTA, CMA and NHAA, the webinar ‘Lifting the Invisibility Cloak, a cross-association webinar on Registration for Naturopaths and Herbalists’, went to air on Wednesday 14th of June. The webinar recording is now available for viewing.

As part of this process, we approached all the Australian professional associations for their inclusion and input. While some associations and people have chosen not to be involved, we curated a fantastic panel of profession experts to present a multifaceted, informative session on the pros, cons, logistics, legalities and formalities of registration for naturopaths and herbalists in Australia. The panel included:

  • Rachel Arthur, who chaired the event, bringing her 20 years of experience as a practitioner, educator and mentor for integrative nutrition to the panel helm
  • Leach Hechtman, who will bring her expertise as a top naturopathic practitioner, author and past president of the NHAA;
  • Daniel Clare, who will bring pragmatic knowledge of registration to the table as an AHPRA registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner as well as being a naturopath and holding a Bachelor of Laws and a Master Degree in Clinical Practice; and
  • Anne-Louise Carlton, who offers registration expertise via her hard work as a senior policy advisor for HealthWork International.

Please note that this webinar was designed to be impartial in politics, with associations working together to create a genuinely educational session with all questions and concerns considered carefully and respectfully.
